The Credit Avenue ("we," "us," or "our") is a credit repair organization operating as a DBA of Avenue Collective, LLC, located in Kentucky. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information.

Information We Collect

When you become a client, we may collect the following information:

  • Full name, middle name, and date of birth
  • Social Security Number
  • Current address and contact information
  • Phone number (used for identity and file verification purposes only, not for calls, texts, or telemarketing)
  • Email address
  • Photo identification (driver's license, state ID, or passport)
  • Social Security card (optional)
  • Proof of address
  • Credit monitoring account credentials (username, password, and security question answer for myScoreIQ)
  • CFPB account credentials (if applicable)
  • Credit report information
  • Dispute correspondence and documentation

How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely for the purpose of providing credit repair services, including:

  • Reviewing and disputing inaccurate information on your credit reports
  • Filing complaints with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) when necessary
  • Monitoring your credit progress through myScoreIQ
  • Communicating with you via email and your client portal
  • Maintaining your client file as required by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA)

Where Your Information Is Stored

Your information is stored in our client management system, DisputeFox. Access is limited to The Credit Avenue and authorized team members who need the information to perform credit repair services on your behalf.

Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share your information with:

  • Credit reporting agencies (TransUnion, Experian, Equifax) for the purpose of disputing inaccurate information
  • The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) for the purpose of filing complaints on your behalf
  • myScoreIQ for credit monitoring services (you maintain your own myScoreIQ account)

Data Retention

We retain your client file, including all correspondence and documentation, for a period of not less than two (2) years from the date of your agreement, as required by the Credit Repair Organizations Act (CROA).

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to your personal information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your personal information (subject to CROA retention requirements)
  • Revoke authorization for credit repair services at any time by providing written notice
  • Revoke access to your CFPB account at any time
